Most specimens have been turned to smaller pieces over the years, it seems. The gold here is composed of both classical Romanian habits on one specimen!

This is a classic and old-time specimen from historic Verespatak (Rosia Montana), Romania and has the distinctive rich yellow color and crenellated form that is unique to Rosia Montana.
