Nice very rare specimen of delicate, bright honey-brown acicular yuanfuliite crystals with spheroidal calcite and hematite on a lamproite matrix. Great collector piece. Fluor-richterite als lemon yellow flattened crystals.
Yuanfuliite is a rare borate, identified as new species in 1994.
Named in honor of Yuan Fuli (31 December 1893, Xushui District, Hebei, China - 22 May 1987, Beijing, China), geologist and professor, to commemorate 100 years after his birth.
