RARE LUESHITE CRYSTALS
Lueshe Mine, Rutshuru Territory, DR Congo
Exceptional sharp cubes (5 and 6 mm in size!) of the rare Niobium-containing species of lueshite with a good metallic shine in a greasy mica-like matrix.
The mine was closed in the 1990s and pieces like this only came out every now and then, this specimen probably somewhere in the 70s. Also the Typelocality for lueshite!
Comes with old (handwritten) label.
